Shadow Spell by Charlie-Bowater Shadow Spell by Charlie-Bowater
The second of two book covers I painted for Simon & Schuster - Caro King’s Seven Sorcerers and also the sequel Shadow Spell.

I painted these last year and it's nice to finally be able to share them. This is my favourite out of the two!

:)

 PSC5 and wacom intuos 4.

Shadow Spell, a wonderful illustration by `Charlie-Bowater. The composition and vivid colors are just spectacular, and every detail is flawlessly rendered! ( Featured by alicexz )

This reminds me so much of Serpents Shadow by Rick Riordan, especially with the snake and the girl looks like the main character Sadie, especially with that amulet.

O.O This is amazing!! It looks almost exactly like the main character in one of my fantasy stories-- except my character's hair is longer and darker, and she has one blue eye.
But aside from that, this is so detailed and lifelike!!! :D
