Your gifted hands could lend just the right mixture of elegance and modernity to an heroine inspired from an Indian goddess e.g Durga or Kali. So amazing by the way. How long have you been drawing/painting?
this is how Jubilee from Xmen should really look when she does her... thing. (her powers are silly but I always picture the cartoon from the 90s and how goofy she looked doing it). in this picture, if it were here, I imagine her more like a mesmer or illusionist, casting glamours, in a sense.
The longer I look at this piece, the more things I find to love about it. There's something about that particular pose coupled with her facial expression that lends the image this fantastic sort of ethereal quality. The angle, the hair, the way you've blended the background into energy sparking off her fingertips... It's fabulous.
Oh wow. So breathtaking. What really strikes me is how simple it all is. Her outfit is so simple, just a t-shirt and pants with a belt, no adornments. There are no funky colors in the hair. No tattoos or piercings. Her chest doesn't take over the whole image. And everything about her is striking. Perhaps it is because she feels so relatable. Everyone owns a t-shirt and jeans! Ah, and her face is so gorgeous, but it doesn't feel... Hollywood pretty to me. She has a unique face, and it's beautiful. How her body bends and how her hair flows, and all surrounded by that stunning background, it is so mesmerizing.
